This past September, at Maddens Resort on Gull Lake, Jamie and Simon tied the knot against the backdrop of the shimmering lake and surrounded by family and friends. Their wedding was a kaleidoscope of bold jewel tones, heartfelt moments, and lakeside bliss.

The day began with a breathtaking beach ceremony. Picture this: soft waves gently lapping against the shore, a sky painted with soft morning hues, and an aisle framed by lush floral arrangements in deep emerald greens, peach tones and rich burgundy. The bold jewel tones perfectly contrasted the natural softness of the sand and water, creating a scene that felt straight out of a dream.

Jamie walked down the aisle in a timeless gown, her bouquet bursting with many local blooms from Irondale Acres. As she exchanged vows with Simon under a golden arch adorned with cascading florals there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

We love when couples are adventurous and willing to do a winter wedding in Minnesota! L + B’s December wedding was nothing short of magical. From the ceremony at Luminary Fern to the reception at the NP event space, it was a perfect day! It was such a joy transforming the reception space into a Christmas winter wonderland and reminiscing on this wedding is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit! What a special couple! It isn’t often that you meet a couple that started off as high school sweethearts and 10 years later, they are ready to say I do! M + W’s wedding was the perfect way to finish off the summer wedding season and get us excited to jump into the fall season. And what is a summer wedding in the Brainerd Lakes area without a boat ride and bridal party pictures on the beach?!
